The Brotherhood of the Iron Taint (B.I.T.)

We had been riding together for many many years and always did at least one long trip together each summer. In 2010 we went to Winter Park, but instead of just the MTB rides, we decided we'd take the motos and rode them for a day. At a trailhead we ran into a jeep with two drunk couples. They couldn't believe we were riding motorcycles and we further explained that not only were we riding motorcycles, but that we had actually been riding mountain bikes the two days before. One of the drunks replied, "You must have iron taints!". And that's how it started.

T-Shirts?

Most of us had never heard the term Iron Taint used and it sounded funny, so we searched the Internet to see who who else might have used that phrase and found a hilarious spoof video of an energy drink called Iron Taint XXX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbSunIcIq-s. One thing led to another and the next thing you know we had team shirts with the words Cobra Milk, Bourbon, Chest Hair, and Dirt across the back, with a Kokopelli kicking another in the taint region on the front. That was along time ago, but the B.I.T. was born and those friendships have grown and the stories are legendary.
